[Amaterasu has had quite enough of this effect. She may be a wolf, and she may be mother to all her world, but being this kind of mother wolf is not what she'd rather be doing!]

[She keeps testing the Twin-Screw Universal Controller, until the switch finally gives. Whatever happens now, hopefully it'll be an improvement on this!]

[Ammy has gotten pretty sick and tired of whatever the switch-thing did a couple of days ago...she's been prowling around the entire ship searching for a spring that connects to steam-powered weaving machines, and not found a one! It's maddening wanting to dump the money that she has somewhere! So, if it's that switch thing that's causing it, maybe moving it again will stop it.]

[She notes the Cambot watching, and leans up towards the Twin-Screw Universal Controller. She considers it for only a moment, but then pushes one of the switches with her nose. Leap before you think, right?]

[Cambot comes across Ammy with a simple red and gold scarf tied around her neck. She's just laying down in her room, looking forlorn. When Cambot finds her, she briefly looks up at him, but doesn't seem all that interested.]

[Perry's missing. She's gone and looked, sniffing all over, but after having similar things happen to Chibi and Shepard, it doesn't take much guessing to realize what's happened to him. One of her good long-time friends is gone, and that's enough to leave Ammy feeling really down. She just sighs at Cambot...saying goodbye is never easy.]

[Ammy looks a little bit worried. She holds up an old drawing to show her worry:]



[So, she has to look at the bad story this week, right? It's not gonna be too bad, is it? She remembers the first chapter of this book, and it was...pretty bad. She whines a little bit.]

[Cambot catches Ammy running through the recreation deck like there's a demon behind her...and as far as she's concerned, there is. An all-black wolf catches up with her on-screen, and she whirls around to face it, crouching low.]

[This is...definitely a side of Amaterasu that people likely haven't seen before. She circles the black wolf, snarling and growling at it, before lunging for its throat. It jumps out of the way, so Ammy jumps after it, and then proceeds to flip in the air and kick it kung fu-style in the head. While it's still reeling, she lands it a few more kicks (and is that a punch, too?) before finally grabbing it by the scruff of the neck, flipping high into the air and then pile-driving it into the ground.]

[The dark spectre finally lets out an unnatural screech, and then vanishes into black smoke. Ammy lands, and snarls where the black wolf last was. She's definitely dealt with this sort of thing before.]
