Seventh Sunrise

[Cambot comes across Ammy with a simple red and gold scarf tied around her neck. She's just laying down in her room, looking forlorn. When Cambot finds her, she briefly looks up at him, but doesn't seem all that interested.]

[Perry's missing. She's gone and looked, sniffing all over, but after having similar things happen to Chibi and Shepard, it doesn't take much guessing to realize what's happened to him. One of her good long-time friends is gone, and that's enough to leave Ammy feeling really down. She just sighs at Cambot...saying goodbye is never easy.]

So, uh...

[Jeez, how does he talk to dogs this is weird.]

Someone take your favourite bone?

[Ammy shakes her head. She pulls out a piece of paper to sketch, and then holds up a picture of Perry:]

--Perry?!

What happened to him? Is he alright?

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy makes to glance out the window of her room, but just looks upset and unsure. He's not here anymore, and she can't sniff him out, so she's just assuming that he's gone back home.]

[Liz happened to see Ammy's drawing of Perry and her face fell. She liked the little guy too...in a way she kind of owed him a lot.

Wordlessly, she finds her way to Ammy and sits with her, scratching the wolf behind her ears sadly. Honestly...what hurts the most is that whatever's sending them in and out of the Satellite never even lets them say goodbye.]

[Ammy just sits and appreciates the scratches, her tail thumping once in awhile. Companionship is nice enough.]

[That part does hurt a lot. Even an abrupt goodbye is better than none at all.]

[She'll sit with Ammy as long as she needs. She knows all too well how it feels.]

[Ammy sits and thinks for awhile. Then she sits up, wondering something...is Perry's secret hideout still around? Was he able to bring the drawings she'd given him home with him?]

[A wild BIG MACINTOSH appears, nuzzling Ammy with a concerned frown.]

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy's a bit surprised when he shows up, but then offers a small nuzzle back. Now she wishes she had some grains or grass to give him.]

[Ammy doesn't need to give him anything...it's her he's worried about. He sits next to her and tilts his head, hoping he can offer some comfort.]

[Well, it is nice just to have others around, for now. She hopes that no one she cares about up and vanishes on her, too. She gives him back a small smile.]

[Sasami takes notice of the depressed Ammy and approaches her, petting the sun god comfortingly.]

[Ammy looks up when Sasami arrives, and then just accepts the pettings. Those are pretty nice right now.]

[Hand mirror in hand to look out for the Basilisk, Xion goes to find Ammy.

When she does, she sits down beside her and offers comforting pettings.]

I'm sorry, girl.

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy accepts the pettings, glad that Xion is still here. She cocks her head at the hand mirror she's holding.]

[skysmirror]

[Xion's glad to have Ammy here, too. When she notices Ammy looking at the mirror, she sighed.]

It's in case of the snake.

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy flattens her ears and looks concerned. What snake? Why does that require a mirror?]

[Chibi whines. He liked Perry too, and now Perry seems to have gone. Even if he went home, Chibi knows Perry was a really good friend to his mother.]

[I'm going to come to you, okay? I haven't seen Perry lately, but we can look!]

[Chibi trots off to find his mother, keeping a wary eye out for the monsters.]

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy barks back:]

All right. I've looked around a lot of the satellite for him, but we can always go look some more.

[She's very glad Chibi is back, though.]

[littlesun]

It can't hurt to try again, right?

[Chibi is ready to look, at any rate. If his mother already looked, then they probably won't find him, but they should be sure, especially considering the monsters that are around.]

[yabigfurball]

No, we can always look again. But from the sound of things, we should be careful, too.

[She gets up from her bed and shakes herself out.]

[halfdarkened]

[Riku looks bothered.] You're noticing there are people missing, too, aren't you?

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy nods. She's glad Riku is still here, though.]

[halfdarkened]

[Same goes for her.] Three or four people... Maybe they'll come back like I did. But at least they're home. Perry and Terra... And...

[And slowly Riku realized this wasn't all good. Perry would be with Phineas, but back in his world they didn't know how to get Terra back... And then Riku remembered a conversation with a fatherly soldier and the hard life he'd led, along with the horrible things he had to do. Riku remembered he was trying to set things right just before he arrived on the SOL, and that he'd been attacked by a shape-shifting creature... Riku swallowed hard.]

...And Maes. I... I really hope we see him again. [He gets up and moves briefly out of Cambot's line of sight. When Cambot focuses on him again, he's lowering a hand from his face.]
