[Not long after this, Cambot comes across Xion in Sora's room. At least, one would think it's Xion, but her hair looks a little too brown--no, wait, it's black as usual, must have been a trick of the light.

It looks like she's checking up on Sora, who looks like he's asleep. Pretty deeply asleep, too; he doesn't seem to be aware of Xion checking his pulse. She looks up when she's done, and she's pretty obviously concerned and tired. When her mouth moves as if she's speaking, Cambot helpfully provides subtitles.]

I can't get him to wake up.

[...right. What else could go wrong this week. Liz looks concerned, Cambot still giving her subtitles as she speaks.]

What happened?

[Really, this was not the desired result, more like a worst-case scenario coming true. She's really not sure how much to explain over Cambot, though.

Thank goodness she doesn't have to write everything.]

We went back in the time machine...

[punsofiron]

[She raises an eyebrow at that, waving a hand vaguely to encourage her to go on. What happened in the time machine?]

[Have a Ven, looking startled. He starts speaking, making motions with his hands as well, and even though he can't say anything it's clear he's asking What happened?]

[Xion definitely picks up on the gestures, and her Cambot's providing subtitles even if Ven's isn't, so she gets his meaning. This being Cambot, though, Xion doesn't want to go into too many details.]

We wanted to try the time machine...

[salvagedlight]

[He starts to ask something else - and then gives up. This whole "no talking" thing is ridiculous. Instead he points to himself, then to the camera, or more specifically her, and turns and runs off. He's coming to you, Xion.]

What happened?

[Like so many others', Aqua's cambot helpful offers subtitles, although it's entirely possibly her concerned look would have been enough.]

[It probably would have, especially since in this kind of situation that's the first question on most people's minds. The full explanation isn't something that Xion wants to go into over Cambot.]

It's kind of a long story.

Ah, is there anything I can do to help?

[sailorlaughter]

[Pinkie just looks into the camera for a few seconds and then starts sobbing again. Sorry.]

Will be sending Nami in a second.

[skysmirror]

[Xion looks a little flustered, wondering what to do for the sobbing pony, when her attention is drawn by someone who seems to have just arrived. There's a brief, silent discussion, and Cambot turns to see Namine leaving the room.]

[A little later, Nami shows up with one of Pinkie's favorite cupcakes and a whole box of tissues.]

[Nami instantly has a crying pony wrapped around her legs.]

[To say this is disconcerting to Roxas is a huge understatement. He didn't miss that brief moment where Xion's hair looked more brown and he's afraid of what it might mean.

He would say something for Cambot to subtitle for him, but his Cambot doesn't seem to do well with them, generally giving the captions about twenty seconds later. So he doesn't bother, just heading off to Sora's room.]

[Roxas knows better than the others what that sort of change in Xion means. He's got good reason to be concerned--Xion and Sora did something that he will probably not be too happy to hear about when he gets the whole story.

Still, Xion's relieved to see him when he shows up.]

["What happened?"]

[Really, Xion's glad that so many people are concerned about Sora, but giving explanations over Cambot--especially this kind of explanation--is awkward. At least Cambot's helpful in providing subtitles.]

We thought we'd try the time machine...

[He notices that brown, or at least he thinks he does. Who really knows. His Cambot is being uncooperative, so he uses his laptop, types, and holds it up to the screen: "Where are you?"]

[It was definitely there, he wasn't just seeing things. Xion smiles slightly at the typed message. Fortunately, her Cambot's in a mood to provide a bit of help, so the subtitles are still happening.]

Sora's room.

[verygassy]

[Minako notices the brown, and she frowns. A trick of the light? Cambot being on the fritz? Or...well, if it is the or option, she doesn't say.

Instead, she asks questions. Sadly, since her attempt to stop the Utahraptor, her subtitles haven't been working right.]

What happened?

[Yeah, that's not something Xion wants to be talking about now. At least the question asked is one she's getting used to fielding, and her subtitles are working okay.]

We tried the time machine.

[dadandgone]

[Maes frowns, very concerned. He's at Xion and Sora's side in a moment, looking down at the boy and back at Xion. He scribbles down a note and holds it up]

"Know you're probably sick of people asking.

But what happened?"

[While waiting for her response he checks over Sora. He's been studying the medical text books but it's still only a very basic knowledge of these things he's working with.]

[Xion's been looking at those books, too, but a lot of what they say doesn't seem to be applicable here. Still, she's glad to have Hughes here.

She gives Cambot the signal to stop recording so they can speak somewhat privately, but Cam still provides subtitles for her. Once that's taken care of, she explains what happened when they went back in the time machine.]

I'd hoped that being back here would mean he'd wake up, but he hasn't yet.

[Perry arrives and hops up onto the bed. Looking at Sora with some concern before carefully curling up with him.

Don't worry Xion. If you need to leave Perry will watch him.]

[Xion smiles and pets Perry. It's nice to know he's here in case she does need to leave; she doesn't like the idea of leaving Sora alone now.]
