[Not long after this, Cambot comes across Xion in Sora's room. At least, one would think it's Xion, but her hair looks a little too brown--no, wait, it's black as usual, must have been a trick of the light.

It looks like she's checking up on Sora, who looks like he's asleep. Pretty deeply asleep, too; he doesn't seem to be aware of Xion checking his pulse. She looks up when she's done, and she's pretty obviously concerned and tired. When her mouth moves as if she's speaking, Cambot helpfully provides subtitles.]

I can't get him to wake up.

[...right. What else could go wrong this week. Liz looks concerned, Cambot still giving her subtitles as she speaks.]

What happened?

[Have a Ven, looking startled. He starts speaking, making motions with his hands as well, and even though he can't say anything it's clear he's asking What happened?]

[Like so many others', Aqua's cambot helpful offers subtitles, although it's entirely possibly her concerned look would have been enough.]

[Pinkie just looks into the camera for a few seconds and then starts sobbing again. Sorry.]

[To say this is disconcerting to Roxas is a huge understatement. He didn't miss that brief moment where Xion's hair looked more brown and he's afraid of what it might mean.

He would say something for Cambot to subtitle for him, but his Cambot doesn't seem to do well with them, generally giving the captions about twenty seconds later. So he doesn't bother, just heading off to Sora's room.]

["What happened?"]

[Really, this was not the desired result, more like a worst-case scenario coming true. She's really not sure how much to explain over Cambot, though.

Thank goodness she doesn't have to write everything.]

We went back in the time machine...

[Xion definitely picks up on the gestures, and her Cambot's providing subtitles even if Ven's isn't, so she gets his meaning. This being Cambot, though, Xion doesn't want to go into too many details.]

[It probably would have, especially since in this kind of situation that's the first question on most people's minds. The full explanation isn't something that Xion wants to go into over Cambot.]

It's kind of a long story.

Will be sending Nami in a second.

[Xion looks a little flustered, wondering what to do for the sobbing pony, when her attention is drawn by someone who seems to have just arrived. There's a brief, silent discussion, and Cambot turns to see Namine leaving the room.]

[Roxas knows better than the others what that sort of change in Xion means. He's got good reason to be concerned--Xion and Sora did something that he will probably not be too happy to hear about when he gets the whole story.

Still, Xion's relieved to see him when he shows up.]

[Really, Xion's glad that so many people are concerned about Sora, but giving explanations over Cambot--especially this kind of explanation--is awkward. At least Cambot's helpful in providing subtitles.]

We thought we'd try the time machine...

[All he really can do when he arrives is give her a quizzical look, though it probably hints at a very obvious question: What happened?

His Cambot oh-so-helpfully displays a question mark... about ten seconds late.]

[A little later, Nami shows up with one of Pinkie's favorite cupcakes and a whole box of tissues.]

Ah, is there anything I can do to help?

[It's the question on most everyone's mind at this point. Xion asks the Cambots to stop recording, but still provide subtitles for them. Once that's been taken care of, she launches into a brief summary of how Sora ended up like this.]

I thought if I got him back he'd be okay, but it's been a little while and he's not waking up.

[She looks pretty upset.}

[Well that doesn't good. There's only one response for it, though, as his Cambot will belatedly subtitle for him.]

Back from where?

["Did something go wrong?" Isa assumes it must have been a malfunction]

Where we went in the time machine.

[She goes on to bring him up to date on the details of what happened.]

[Well, yes, there was a malfunction, but not with the machine.]

You could say that.

"What happened?"

[Roxas takes this in. And, no, he doesn't like what he hears. It confirms something he sort of suspected, but that's not necessarily good news. Useful information, maybe, but not good news.

He's more musing to himself with this next thought, but his Cambot subtitles it anyway. Perfectly synced, on top of that.]

So we really can't all exist together outside of this place...

[He notices that brown, or at least he thinks he does. Who really knows. His Cambot is being uncooperative, so he uses his laptop, types, and holds it up to the screen: "Where are you?"]

[Minako notices the brown, and she frowns. A trick of the light? Cambot being on the fritz? Or...well, if it is the or option, she doesn't say.

Instead, she asks questions. Sadly, since her attempt to stop the Utahraptor, her subtitles haven't been working right.]

What happened?

[Yeah, that's not something Xion wants to be talking about now. At least the question asked is one she's getting used to fielding, and her subtitles are working okay.]
