First Sunrise

[There is currently a white wolf staring at the camera. At first, she's just confused. However, when Cambot moves a little closer, she jumps back and crouches down into a defensive position, growling at the strange floating object. Cambot immediately backs off again, just as startled as she is.]

[Once Amaterasu determines that the floating object is not a threat, she relaxes a bit and approaches it again, sniffing. Cambot continues to keep a good distance. Amaterasu sits down and cocks her head at Cambot, whining a little. Can this object actually help her out?]

[After there's no response, Ammy leaves the Cambot's view. When she returns, she's holding up a painting in her mouth:]

[Well, that's not kind of reaction Ienzo was quite expecting. Admittedly, he can only guess at what she's trying to ask, and imply, but it's clear enough that something hasn't gone as planned. He would have thought knowing the sun was there would have been enough.

So he tilts his head in a wordless question that's one part "what's wrong" to one part request for clarification. He's missed something, and he'd rather like to know what.]

Ammy thinks for a long while...she isn't sure how to explain it to Ienzo. She paints two more pictures:]

[Silence doesn't so much fall as continue to stretch on, as Ienzo considers the latest set of possibilities. It's fairly obvious that there's something missing between the two pictures, and given the satellite is indoors by its very nature it's relatively natural to assume the second picture is the satellite. The only question is what the... fireball? ... was supposed to indicate.

After a moment of consideration, he offers the only explanation that he can think of.]

Missing... magic?

[Well not precisely, but mortals probably would consider it magic, and that's close enough. She barks once for affirmation.]

[He nods at her confirmation, mostly to himself, and silence falls as he turns to the latest piece of the puzzle. He hasn't noticed all that much missing, except for his odd little ability to pick up on light or darkness, and since he hasn't ever really depended on it he'd simply relegated it to the back of his mind. The Satellite itself had been far more interesting.

This, however, bore looking into. Something was different here.]

[Ammy looks curious about this, and studies Ienzo. Others, too? Were there others here who used magic and now can't? She looks around...how would they find that out?]

[He offers a vague shrug. He doesn't really know if there are any people here who used magic. He's just assuming, in the grand tradition of scientists everywhere. But it's not like he doesn't know of it's existance and with all these worlds... surely someone does.]
