First Sunrise

[There is currently a white wolf staring at the camera. At first, she's just confused. However, when Cambot moves a little closer, she jumps back and crouches down into a defensive position, growling at the strange floating object. Cambot immediately backs off again, just as startled as she is.]

[Once Amaterasu determines that the floating object is not a threat, she relaxes a bit and approaches it again, sniffing. Cambot continues to keep a good distance. Amaterasu sits down and cocks her head at Cambot, whining a little. Can this object actually help her out?]

[After there's no response, Ammy leaves the Cambot's view. When she returns, she's holding up a painting in her mouth:]

[Well, that sounds okay...but how's she supposed to get any sun if she can't go outside at all? She still looks a tad worried.]

[Well yes, there's a lot wrong. She's here when she's supposed to be on the Celestial Plain, and none of her brushes are here. But she doesn't know how to explain all that, so she just whines.]

I'm sorry, but you can't go out. There doesn't look like there's much out there, anyway.

...you need a friend, buddy? I can come visit.

[While there are stars out there, that does no good if she can't use their power.]

[A friend would make her happy, though. She sits up a little more.]

--fff Zack just starts rubbing her belly and is like. WAIT. YOU'RE A GIRL.

[He's about to get up, to shuffle around the other rooms before he pauses.]

...ah.

Think you can draw out exactly where you are, bud?

Ammy is all WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW?

[Ammy isn't sure exactly...all this place looks similar. However, she does recognize one marker, and paints the number "3" for him.]

ALL YOU WOLVES LOOK ALIKE.

Number 3, huh? So you want me to look for a 3?

...I... can manage that! You hang tight, okay?

[She can do that! She yawns, and lays down to wait for him.]

[Even without knowing his way around all too much, he's able to find the the number '3' fairly quickly. He doesn't want to keep the wolf waiting too long all by itself, especially when he wasn't sure of what still lurked around on this weird ship. If it needed someone to protect it, he'd be there.

Soon enough, he sneaks around the corner to find a patch of white fur, dropping to his knees with a grin and ruffling the animal's head.]

[Ammy is a bit surprised at his appearance, but very happy to get some pets and ear scritches! She wags her tail for him.]

I'll take that as a yes! [Nudging you to lay on your side so he can give you tummyrubs!]

[Ooooh tummyrubs! Hardly anybody gives her those, mostly because she's still always looking a little too wild. Ammy stretches out on her back.]

[Zack doesn't mind if you're wild or not! You've been a good sport so far, and he's going to treat you with the same kind of respect as he would anyone else. That, and Angeal would say he was good with animals in general.

So tummyrubs it is! ...except when he notices one very important detail.]

[Ammy enjoys the petting for awhile, happy to have found some friends here...at least until Zack suddenly becomes all surprised.]

[Then she rolls back over. He seems surprised about that? Ammy doesn't care if anyone thinks she's a boy or a girl. She is who she is.]

Hey, hey, hey, nono. Lay back down, it's nothin'!

[Gently, he'll nudge Ammy back over to continue the belly rubs, now a little more comfortable with the realization that he'd kinda flubbed up back there. But she didn't seem to mind!

There ya go! [And more vigorously, he scratches her underside, a wide grin plastered on his face.]

Can't say I've known too many wolves myself, but you're not such a bad girl, are ya? You're just a big ol' puppy!

[It takes one to know one, pal! And she's pretty friendly right now because so far everyone here has been friendly, and she hasn't smelled any curses or darkness on anyone. Just don't get her angry!]

[However, too many tummy rubs and she may just get tired and fall asleep!]

[Heck, even if you do fall asleep, he'll just move you right on his lap so you're more comfortable. He doesn't mind!

It's been so long since he'd interacted with a real dog, after all.]

[Yeah, enough pettings and Ammy just gets very relaxed and kind of dozes off. Plus, the stress of showing up someplace you aren't supposed to be kind of wears you out.]
