Apparently some creature (reptilian in nature, judging by the snake-like pupil) is leaning super close to Cambot to peer at his lens. Blink, blink. After a second, he leans away and scratches his head, revealing himself to be a small purple dragon, riding on the back of a purple pony. Just another day on the Satellite of Love.] Uh, hey, Twilight?

[The aforementioned pony seems to have her nose buried in a long scroll of parchment.] So after we go pick up the new quills and parchment, we can stop by Sugarcube Corner and see if we can get some pastries for our next party, and then we'll need to go out to Sweet Apple Acres and help Applejack measure the foundation for that new storage cellar she wants to put in.

[The dragon tugs gently on Twilight's mane to get her attention.] Yeah, okay, but Twilight?

Oh, and Cheerilee wanted to talk to us about coming in and demonstrating some magic for her younger students and she has all those books to return so we might as well pick them up while we're over there, and once we get home we need to reorganize at least the Classics section and possibly Modern Spellcasting as well because someone got into them and messed everything up and nothing's where it should be anymore.

[Tugging gently has been upgraded to tugging not so gently.] Kinda need you to see this...

And the globe needs polishing, and the floor needs to be scrubbed again, and I think our clock might be thirty seconds too fast --

TWILIGHT!! [Finally he gives up and snatches the to-do list away from her.]

What is it, Spi-IIIIIIIIIIIIIIhhhhhhhhhhhhk! [Her eyes go almost as wide as her head as her breath is sucked completely out of her body at what she's seeing.]

Yyyyyyeah. [And Spike just deadpans it:] I think we're lost.

But she was here, is that it? I saw her just yesterday - we're supposed to have tea together later. Or, we were, at least.

[She nods yes; Fluttershy was here. Hmm, and then Twilight just saw her...she hopes it was because she got home, and not just some time difference.]

[sailormagic]

[Will they ever know? Probably not, but at least Ammy can take some comfort from the fact that she still exists at home.]

Then perhaps if Fluttershy managed to leave, one day we'll all be able to go home as well. Do you have a name? I can tell her about you when that happens.

[She certainly hopes so. She needs to get back to the Celestial Plain eventually.]

[While Ammy doesn't expect Twilight to be able to read it, she pulls out the painting she did for Spike, which reads "Amaterasu" in Japanese characters.]

[And that's a nope, although Twilight can at least tell it's writing. It looks like some of the scripts she's seen referenced in books in Canterlot.]

Oh! I'm ...I'm sorry, I can't read that. Is there a dictionary somewhere that would help me translate that?

[No, she wasn't expecting her to be able to. She puts the painting away again.]

[As to a dictionary? She gives a bit of a curious shrug. She hasn't thought of looking for a dictionary before, but it's possible there's one on the ship.]

[It's Twilight, of course she thinks of a dictionary. Well, she can look later, if Ammy can guide her to the right language.]

Hmmm... maybe we can make a game of it? I say sounds, and you let me know if they're right or not.

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy is fine with that! She nods. Although she doubts that Twilight would be able to guess 'Amaterasu' since it's a bit long, so she'll settle just for guessing 'Ammy.']

[sailormagic]

Okay, just let me know when I get there!

[And she'll start at the beginning of the alphabet and work her way down, starting with all the combinations of A that she can think of. Ab-, Ac, and so forth. She'll get to Am- soon enough.]

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy continues to shake her head through most of what Twilight says, until she gets to an Am- sound, when she starts nodding in confirmation.]

[And Twilight goes through An- before realizing that the wolf is nodding, at which point she stops and backs up.]

Am? Your name starts with Am? Great! Umm... how many syllables are there?

[yabigfurball]

[Well, she still thinks it'd be easier to deal with two syllables for 'Ammy' than five for 'Amaterasu,' so she pulls out another piece of paper, and paints a "2" on it before showing it to Twilight.]

[sailormagic]

Two? That's convenient. All right, let's keep going then!

[This time she's starting with ma- and the variations on it. It'll still take her awhile to get to -my, though.]

[yabigfurball]

[She continues to shake her head through most of the guessing --at this point starting to get a little dizzy from all this shaking-- before she finally gets to "-My." There, Ammy nods a confirmation.]

-my, -mo, m- wait, -my?

So your name is... Ammy?

[yabigfurball]

[She barks once for yes. That's her name...or at least her best nickname!]

[sailormagic]

[And Twilight smiles widely] Ammy! That's a nice name. Mine's Twilight Sparkle, but most ponies simply call me Twilight.

[yabigfurball]

[She nods, smiling. Twilight is a nice enough name, too.]

[sailormagic]

Are there any more like you on this ship?

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy sighs and shakes her head no...while there's other animals, of course, she hasn't seen any other gods on the ship.]

That's too bad. But, I'm sure there are lots of people here willing to be your friend!

[She's not getting the concept of "god," but she understands the concept of loneliness.]
