After a second, he leans away and scratches his head, revealing himself to be a small purple dragon, riding on the back of a purple pony. Just another day on the Satellite of Love.] Uh, hey, Twilight?

[The aforementioned pony seems to have her nose buried in a long scroll of parchment.] So after we go pick up the new quills and parchment, we can stop by Sugarcube Corner and see if we can get some pastries for our next party, and then we'll need to go out to Sweet Apple Acres and help Applejack measure the foundation for that new storage cellar she wants to put in.

[The dragon tugs gently on Twilight's mane to get her attention.] Yeah, okay, but Twilight?

Oh, and Cheerilee wanted to talk to us about coming in and demonstrating some magic for her younger students and she has all those books to return so we might as well pick them up while we're over there, and once we get home we need to reorganize at least the Classics section and possibly Modern Spellcasting as well because someone got into them and messed everything up and nothing's where it should be anymore.

[Tugging gently has been upgraded to tugging not so gently.] Kinda need you to see this...

And the globe needs polishing, and the floor needs to be scrubbed again, and I think our clock might be thirty seconds too fast --

TWILIGHT!! [Finally he gives up and snatches the to-do list away from her.]

What is it, Spi-IIIIIIIIIIIIIIhhhhhhhhhhhhk! [Her eyes go almost as wide as her head as her breath is sucked completely out of her body at what she's seeing.]

Yyyyyyeah. [And Spike just deadpans it:] I think we're lost.

Well, I read one chapter of it. It has a guy and a girl who keep ignoring each other because the guy rescued her somehow and the girl's really creepy...

...but, this must mean that the real hero is one of you and they're going to show up!

[Jaw. Officially. Dropped. Spike stares in amazement, and it takes him a few seconds to regain the power of speech.]

A-An alien? Omigosh omigosh omigosh... D-Does that make this first contact? Uh, hi! My name's Spike! Wait, I said that already...

Yes, I believe it does! [There are other aliens here, but one thing at a time. Especially for an impressionable little dragon!]

Oh, wow. I must be the first dragon ever to meet a real live alien! It's an honor! Sasami, you said, right? What planet are you from?

[Sasami can't help but laugh - he seems so excited about this! Well, she can't let him down, can she?]

I'm from a world called Jurai. I'm a princess there, too!

[What's so odd is that, if she said that to anyone else? They might think she was playing a joke. Here? She feels a little more looser on doing something like that.]

Wow, a princess, too! [He was raised by a princess, but that's still pretty cool.] So what's Jurai like?

There shouldn't be any books about us yet, unless you're thinking of the Elements of Harmony-

The Elements of Harmony! The six elements that are bound together in friendship to protect Equestria from any threat! We might be in a book about those if they've been written within this last year, but that would be about all I could think of.

[saint_sami]

Huh... I've never heard of anything about that. At least, not that I know of.

[she shakes her head.]

But, that's okay!

[sailormagic]

Well, then this other book you're thinking of is probably just a coincidence. Twilight is more than my name, after all.

[And she doesn't mind that too much.]

Um... [she grins sheepishly] Can I call you "Twilight" for short? If that's okay?

Of course! Most ponies do - and, I suppose now, most non-ponies too!

[saint_sami]

Great! Um... wait a second. There's something I want to do real fast!

[In the span of a few minutes, Sasami's racing from her room down to where Twilight and Spike is... and giving in to her childish nature and hugging the pony!

Sorry, the last time she met a pony like her, there were duplicate shadows and it was a freaky one of Pinkie Pie]

S-Sorry! I-I couldn't help it...!

[And Twilight reacts as almost any pony would and backs up a couple of steps at the sudden barrage of child, but once it's proven it's just a hug she smiles and lets her do it.]

It's all right - I don't mind.

[saint_sami]

[Sasami can't help but blush, though. That was rather impulsive of her. Either way, the fact that Twilight was letting her do so was wonderful. She resumes hugging her for a while before pulling back and giving her her space.]

Again, sorry. I've seen others like you here, but I've never really had the chance to do that. I... guess that we can be friends? [another sheepish grin]
