PlatyPost #1
[Cambot has found something strange! He flies past the media deck, picking up the sounds of what could be a soap opera given the cheesy music and dialogue. He turns back to see who or what he can make fun of, however when he arrives on the deck he instead finds a small, teal animal lying on the couch. Shouldn't a platypus be on the nature deck?
The platypus looks up and makes a chittering noise, his eyes going in both directions so he's not looking directly at Cambot. Cambot zooms in on the platypus as if testing this. There have been talking ponies and birds and what not, surely the platypus wasn't...just a platypus.
But, nope, Perry just keeps lying there on the couch with his eyes pointing in two different directions. A subtitle pops up on the screen]
"JUST A PLATYPUS!"
[Cambot then spins around to leave, not seeing Perry let out a sigh of relief and getting comfy on the couch to enjoy his soaps. Perry makes a mental note to do something about that camera floating around otherwise he might be in trouble.]

considering not many people play silent protagonists in a place that requires riffingconsidering how many platypi are in the Danville area. But no worries, he is not moving until you get there. He can always sneak off later as usual to give Phineas the chance to ask where he is. No sense breaking norms now, is there? Besides, he is starting to get the sense Phineas might not have seen him in awhile, which means Perry feels even MORE obliged to spend time with him.
Annnnnd One Right There Later that thought is confirmed since Phineas is hugging him REALLY close and tightly. It's almost enough to make Perry teary eyed since it is ALMOST as big a hug as Phineas gave him right before the memory wipe. But, Perry is too much of a professional to cry and break his cover so he just chatters lovingly as Phineas hugs him]

[He ends the hug but is still holding him.]
I'd ask you how you got here, but you probably don't remember. And, y'know, the whole talking thing. We're on a satellite that's orbiting above the Earth right now!
[His
almostperma-cheeriness is still there, at least!]no subject
And now Phineas was here or, by the sound of it, HAD been here for some time. That was troubling but considering Phineas had traveled in time before, not surprising.
Well, at least they're still in the right dimension, or so he thinks]

There are a lot of people, animals, and even robots here, but the overall capacity is large enough to fit everybody. I haven't seen anyone else from home yet, though. It's actually pretty fun!
...Except for the scientists doing research on what happens when people read very poorly written stories, but the guys that were already here found a way to make that fun, too!

At least this scheme was fairly tame compared to some of Doof's other plans. Perry could possibly even relax a little. And he did, sort of, by not moving from Phineas's lap and just sitting there like the content pet he was.]
