I really should have expected something like this to happen. 

[The voice that's speaking is a deep, adult one. One that some people should find unsettlingly familiar. The person the voice belongs to probably looks unsettlingly familiar too.]

I mean, compared with the pony thing, this is practically mundane.

[He pauses and sighs, annoyed]

So is it just affecting me, or did this happen to everyone else?

[Midna tugs at a lock of her hair as she looks at the camera. Her hair seems to have poofed up into a cloud of red curls, though otherwise she still looks the same. She's not too concerned with the change, though; she has other issues to bring up.]

I've been checking the floors to see what else is happening; the media deck's music got hit too.

[She nudges Cambot to point at the screen.]

Does anyone know what this is about?

[She has no idea what this thing is. What is an MTV?]

[Kaldur looks a little...older it seems.]

I am quite confused. If this is supposed to be 1980s nostalgia then what does that necessarily have to do with my sudden appearance like this?

I was not even born in the 1980s nor am I as familiar with its culture on the surface. Is there, perhaps, someone that can explain?

[As cambot floats down the hall he starts to hear music. It's a pretty familiar tune to some and seems to be coming from the media deck. He follows the source and comes upon a scene straight out of an MTV music video.

Terra's pants are now baggier than before (somehow) and a bright yellow, also his shirt is a black and yellow color that matched and that was also baggy. He had a video playing on the televsion and seemed to be following the moves of it.

He was actually not that bad...and seemed to also be singing the words. Just how many times had Terra watched this video?

And the best part?]

Stop.

Terra time.

[And then he continued to dance without realizing Cambot was recording it all for the glory of future laughs.]

[The feed opens on an empty corridor. But wait! What was that flash of movement up ahead? The Cambot inches forward. Was it a bird? A plane? A white pegasus screaming joyfully as she hurtles through the air towards his - OH GOD WHAT]

[Cammy drops down just in time, turning to watch the not-so-pink Pinkie flutter to a wobbly stop above him. While hovering upside-down. Of course.] Oopsie! Sorry about that!

Guys, guys! Check it out! I have WINGS! I'm a real-life PEGASUS! Ohmygosh this is the best thing EVER, I've always WANTED to fly! I mean, space walking's great and all, but it's nowhere NEAR the same as having wings! Oooh, ooooh, I bet I could do tricks! Anyone wanna see one?

[The feed opens up to Xion rummaging through clothes on the Theatrical Deck. At least, the person looks like Xion--the same black coat and hair. The hair’s a little bit longer, though, and her coat looks a little too short now, as if she’d grown a few inches. The coat’s also unzipped, to allow for curves that weren’t there before. Fortunately, the t-shirt she always wears is loose and long enough to be decent still, and though her pants don’t look like they fit comfortably, she can at least wear them.

If the apparent “discard” pile is any indication, she’s not having much luck finding anything she likes. Finally she holds up a dark purple minidress and black leggings to herself to check that they might fit.]

I guess these’ll work...

[Her voice is a little different, too.]

[The more things change, the more they stay the same. Case in point: Wilykit. It's just that this time, her big, poofy hair actually fits in.

Cambot finds her lacing up a pair of high-top sneakers as she hums a little song under her breath. Once she's done, she leans back to admire how they look with her new striped leggings, billowy, oversized t-shirt, and wide belt. Well, at least she won't have to worry about motorists not being able to see her in the dark now.]

I don't know what some of you guys are complaining about. I think this stuff is actually really cute.

We are not quite certain what has happened to our mane. T'is very much like when we... Ah, but we do not wish to dwell on that.

We have also acquired some sort of crown, which we are unable to remove. None of this is making us feel very nostalgic at all!
