[Kotetsu stands in the middle of the field on the recreation deck, holding a broom in one hand and tossing a red ball up and down in the other.]

So, I found a rule book with all this stuff. Anyone wanna play? Or at least try out these brooms?

I dunno about playing a game, but flying around might be fun. Just... if this attracts Sora's attention, keep an eye on him.

THREADJACKING TIME

Great. See ya soon! [Kotetsu will work on finding a good broom.]

[A little while later, and Sora's down on the deck, still in his red and gold colors.]

Never tried this kinda flying before...

It's not too hard. You just gotta concentrate.

If you say so!

[Sora grabs up a broom, and finds a comfortable position to sit on it. At least it seems to be set up more like a saddle on a horse than just sitting on a broom. He closes his eyes, and focuses hard on the same feeling he gets from gliding...and finally, the broom begins to float int he air.]

Hey, good! Try to to go too high right now, tho'.

Wooah...

[Sora attempts to control the broom enough to lower it some, but it mostly begins to steer over to the left. Being a pony was easier than this!]

Just tilt the front part down a bit. Should fix that. [He'll float up, too, just in case he needs to step in.]

All right...

[Sora tilts it down a bit. This will likely take some practice, as the broom tilts over too far and he almost dives back into the ground again.]

Yikes!

Whoa, whoa! Too far!

[optimistickey]

I got thaaaat!

[Sora barely manages to straighten himself out before crashing, and even then, wobbles a little bit once he's level again.]

These things take a little getting used to.

[Kotetsu follows, but sighs in relief when Sora's stable.]

You okay?

[optimistickey]

[Sora just offers up a grin.]

Yeah. Nothing to it!

[eyeofwildtiger]

Good to hear. Why don't you try to make a lap around the field?

[optimistickey]

[Sora nods.] All right!

[He takes off around the track...at first shaky, but then finally gets the hang of keeping level and steering. Just for good measure, he takes another lap around, this time picking up speed.]

[eyeofwildtiger]

There you go! Not too fast, now.

[optimistickey]

[Sora should probably listen, but it's really hard when this is soon becoming fun!]

Yeah, I think I got it!

[Finally does come to a stop--but practically too fast, and he almost falls right off the broom.]

[Kotetsu hurries over with a shrug.]

Hey, I tried to warn ya.

[Sora rubs at the back of his head.]

Yeah...it's just a lot of fun once you really get going!

[eyeofwildtiger]

It is. Just just gotta be careful. The fun goes away pretty quick if you get hurt.

I will! [As careful as he ever is, anyway.]
