[Kotetsu stands in the middle of the field on the recreation deck, holding a broom in one hand and tossing a red ball up and down in the other.]

So, I found a rule book with all this stuff. Anyone wanna play? Or at least try out these brooms?

Mmm, nope. Once you can stop without going head over heels, then we'll start.

Aww, come on! I've got it down, see?

[He gets on the broom again and takes off...once again, a little bit too fast. He tries again to slow down, but again it's too fast of a stop. Sora looks frustrated.]

Still a little wild, there. Ease into your stops. Plan ahead a bit.

Okay, okay, I'll try...

[Sora settles down again, concentrates, and starts the broom up. After a couple of laps, he tries to stop a bit slower, and manages to get it better this time.]

There! Much better. I think we can start some of the basics of the game.

All right!

[And Sora lines up, completely ready to go.]

Alright, we'll start easy. [He picks up a red ball.] Just a simple game of catch. Ready? [He floats up and tosses it.]

[Sora nods.] Ready!

[He floats up, almost a little bit too fast, but still manages to catch the ball. From there, he tosses it up in his hand, and then back at Kotetsu.]

[Kotetsu catches it easily, turns, and throws it across the field opposite Sora.]

[Sora concentrates and zooms in on the ball. He just barely manages to catch it, but almost loses his seat on the broom in the process.]

Whoa, sorry. You okay?

[Sora rights himself as best he can.]

Yeah, yeah, I'm fine! Let's keep going.

[Kotetsu approves of this attitude and holds out his hands, ready to catch the next throw.]

[Sora pulls back even more, and gives another good toss to the ball. He's finally getting the hang of this.]

[After a while, Kotetsu decides to change it up a bit.] Ready to try one last thing?

[Isn't he always?]

Sure! What is it?

Testing your aim. Think you can get that ball through that hoop over there?

[Sora glances over at it, and nods.]

Sure I can!

[He grabs up the ball, flies off, and gets it through the hoop on the first try. At least these kinds of games he had some practice with back home.]

Ha! Looks like you're a natural.

[Sora grins. That's the kinda thing he likes to hear.]

Thanks! These games seem kinda similar to stuff I've done at home.

Oh yeah? How's that?

Just the idea of a team sport with getting a ball into a hoop! ...Not that we had flying brooms or anything.

Heh. Well, that's where the challenge is.

And that's what'll make it fun!
