[There's a voice offscreen, being picked up by a random Cambot hovering around]

I always figured Ventus's heart would be ridiculous.

[The voice sounds... kind of like Sora's, but it's deeper, and there's a certain unpleasantness to it. The cambot goes to investigate, and finds the back of the head of a boy with spiky black hair]

But this isn't his heart, is it. [The boy notices something watching him, and turns to look at him, revealing the familiar face of Sora, save for the yellow eyes.]  

It's not ridiculous enough.

[He seems to consider something, then smirks unpleasantly.]

[Well, Minako's in the gym, beating up a punching bag. She really wants to beat the snot out of Vanitas because seriously, who shoves Pinkie and then goes around being mean? What was his problem? She wanted to, but given that Kotetsu would probably stop her, what was the use?

Once she finds him, he's totally gonna-]

...Ah?? Ven-

[Aaaaand that distracts her just long enough to have the punching bag swing right back and smack her in the face.]

[...Well that wasn't what he intended. Ven runs over to grab the punching bag, stopping it swinging before it can hit her again on the rebound.]

Sorry! You okay? I didn't mean to distract you there.

No, no, I'm ok. This always happens!

...You always get hit in the face?

[...That could explain a lot. ANYWAY, MORE IMPORTANT THINGS. His expression gets more serious and perhaps a little grim.]

Listen, I've gotta talk to you. It's about that new guy.

[Of course she'd never be punched in the face by eldritch abominations or anything! I mean, look at her. Seriously. Does she look like a fighter to you?

[Anyone looks like a fighter to him. Seriously, why would the way someone looks be a measure as to how well they can hit something? And she was certainly wailing on that bag well enough, but Ven doesn't care if she can fight or not - in fact, if she can, it's all to the good. And he lets out an audible sigh of relief at her reaction because GOOD, SHE'S OVER IT NOW.]

Okay, so I don't need to tell you how horrible he is.

You mean this isn't the worst thing he's done?

[Yeah, isn't this going to be a fun talk. Hell, Ven doesn't even know everything he did to Terra and Aqua, but what he did to him is certainly enough.]

For him, shoving Pinkie is like... walking down to the store. He tried to kill all of us and destroy all our worlds at home, him and his master.

[...This conversation turned very dark quickly. Damnit.]

[He knew that question was coming, but that doesn't make this any easier. Ven hates this side of himself, wholeheartedly.]

Because he's... he's not a real person. He's a part of me, the dark part - it was pulled out of me when I was about ten and made another boy. When that happened to me I went into a coma and lost my memory, and he just kept getting stronger and stronger. Me and him are total and complete opposites.
