1st emptiness (Forward dated to just after the singing event)

[There's a voice offscreen, being picked up by a random Cambot hovering around]

I always figured Ventus's heart would be ridiculous.

[The voice sounds... kind of like Sora's, but it's deeper, and there's a certain unpleasantness to it. The cambot goes to investigate, and finds the back of the head of a boy with spiky black hair]

But this isn't his heart, is it. [The boy notices something watching him, and turns to look at him, revealing the familiar face of Sora, save for the yellow eyes.]  

It's not ridiculous enough.

[He seems to consider something, then smirks unpleasantly.]

Silliness and sarcasm aside, I thought that was obvious and I've got a feeling you already know who.

Yes but, that doesn't really answer the question of whether or not he's here.

[Thoughtful pause here. He's honestly debating if he wants to be a smart ass.]

For the sake of argument, let's say he's here. What do you intend to do?

[A soft chuckle. Roxas has heard that reply before and it's answer enough.]

Maybe this will be fun. Yeah, he's here. So are his friends.

You might want to find somewhere to hide.

I think it'll be Ventus who needs to hide.

[thirteenth_brat]

[At that, Roxas can really only laugh.]

Really? That's funny. The way I hear it, he kicked your butt.

[Much as he'd like to tell you Ven also came in from a situation that should have killed him, he's not going to. You can find that out for yourself. Instead, he's just going to smirk.]

If Ven were anything like you, maybe he'd put up more of a fight.

[That almost sounds like a compliment. A rather backhanded one coupled with a dig at Ven, maybe, but a compliment nonetheless.]

It's amazing how much of a fight even the nice ones can put up. On the other hand, I haven't had any reason to fight him and I don't plan to.
