Third Sunrise

[Cambot catches Ammy running through the recreation deck like there's a demon behind her...and as far as she's concerned, there is. An all-black wolf catches up with her on-screen, and she whirls around to face it, crouching low.]

[This is...definitely a side of Amaterasu that people likely haven't seen before. She circles the black wolf, snarling and growling at it, before lunging for its throat. It jumps out of the way, so Ammy jumps after it, and then proceeds to flip in the air and kick it kung fu-style in the head. While it's still reeling, she lands it a few more kicks (and is that a punch, too?) before finally grabbing it by the scruff of the neck, flipping high into the air and then pile-driving it into the ground.]

[The dark spectre finally lets out an unnatural screech, and then vanishes into black smoke. Ammy lands, and snarls where the black wolf last was. She's definitely dealt with this sort of thing before.]

[She walks up to Xion as soon as she catches sight of her near the food synthesizer. Ammy tilts her head when she notices that Xion looks wary...is someone bothering her, too?]

[However, she's momentarily distracted from those thoughts by the steak. That does look pretty tasty! She sits and wags her tail for it.]

[Xion's mostly wondering about these shadows and why there here, so she's quiet as she sets Ammy's food down where the wolf can reach it.]

Here you go, girl.

[She sits and unwraps her ice cream, eating it slowly.]

[Ammy is polite...she waits until Xion drops the steak before sniffing it and then gobbling it up. At least thusfar nothing bad has happened to the food synthesizer. Once she's done, she gives Xion a questioning look.]

[Noticing Ammy's look, Xion reaches over for scritchings and pettings.]

Sorry, girl. I was just thinking about those shadows. I think I saw one on my way here.

[yabigfurball]

[Ammy accepts the pettings. She sits up straighter, looking alert. Is it still nearby?]

[Xion stills for a moment, while Ammy moves.]

She disappeared--I couldn't quite see where she went.

She...She looked like me, I think.

[Well that's no good at all. Ammy looks determined...if that demon comes anywhere near Xion, she'll deal with it!]
