Chapter 1 - A New Face

[ The camera is floating along, recording seemingly nothing. the hallway is empty. But then, it gently swings around the corner. Aha. There's a new face. Or, rather, a new back -- long dark hair tied at the bottom, legs in marigold, with little red ankle-high boots. Click, click, click, are her heels as she walks slolwy down the hall, until she comes to the end. She looks left, looks right, gloved fingers reaching up toward her lips in a thoguhtful pose. Then, she turns over her shoulder. Ah, now there's her face. Her gaze lifts to the floating little camera.]

It's a bit unnerving, with you following me like that you know. [yes, she's talking to the camera] I don't suppose you can tell me which way to go? [and the camera swings back and forth, as if shaking it's head 'no'. The girl frowns, and turns back to her dilema. Left.. or Right?]

Tom: Oh, well, go one way and you'll get to the stairs! Go the opposite way and you'll just get further onto the deck! Go outside, and you're in space!

Crow: It's pretty much just details from there.

[runawayprincess]

Hm... [she puts a knuckle to her lips] I guess, I can't really get lost, can I?

Tom: Oh, you can get lost for sure on the bottom deck! But just stay away from that one and you're golden!

Crow: And stay away from TOM'S deck, too. Unless you like being annoyed for hours on end.

[runawayprincess]

[Going to ignore the bit about Tom being annoying, since she things he's been kinda helpful] what's on the bottom deck?

[Of course, when Crow says 'Tom's deck,' he means the deck filled with hundreds of Tom Servos...]

Crow: Ohhh, none of us really know. Pipes, wiring, engines, the avacado guy, goblins, trap doors, lights that don't work. It's kind of a mess.

[runawayprincess]

Oh... [yeah, that does sound like a mess] How many decks are there?

Twelve of 'em altogether! You can find rooms to stay in on the second and third ones.

And, which one am I on now?
