[Hey, what's this? There's some guy with his head against the food synthesizer this morning. Someone we haven't seen for a while, and in the morning of all times. His pants are the brightest purple ever, and to make things worse, one of the back pockets has a little rainbow heart on it. His sleeveless shirt is made up of orange and purple tiger stripes, and there's an old school, brightly colored slap bracelet on his left wrist. His hair is an utter mop right now, barely-combed.]

...I just want some bacon and eggs. That's ALL I want from you. [There's a bunch of candy and cake in the trashcan nearby...]

[He pushes the button again. Instead out comes a stack of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. He bangs his head against the food synthesizer once and grumbles.]

...At least it's breakfast food. [He settles for it and shuffles half-awake over to a table to eat. It's about then he realizes he's being watched.] Hey, Cam. Hey guys. I'm still here. I was sick for a while. Instead of spreading a disease around a small satellite, I figured you'd all appreciate it if I went ahead and quarantined myself. [An unethusiastic thumbs up.] You're welcome.

Actually. Namine? [He parts his bangs so its possible to see his eyes.] ...Thanks for the soup. [He smiles.] It helped.

By the way, has this week affected anyone else's sleep? [HE suddenly looks VERY sleepy.] I keep dreaming about animals that look like a rainbow sneezed on them. [Going...] And places I've never been before. [His head's drooping, and he seems to realize this because he props himself up with an arm. Going...] And like now I can't stay...

[Gone. Riku falls face-first into his pancakes, out cold. He'll be quite the sight when he finally lifts his head again. At least the pancakes are nice and soft and warm.]

I think bleeding strawberries would be a trick...even for you! [He does offer a hand to help up Riku.]

[Well, that's odd to hear.] ...Really? Do you remember what you were dreaming about?

[He accepts and gets up with Sora's help, but not without an odd but teasing look.] No kidding. Out of the two of us, you'd be the one to pull that off anyway.

No... Though I feel like I was laying on the floor in my dream, too.

What? Come on, I'm not that sweet!

Now that's weird. You were mumbling some weird stuff in your sleep, too.

Not that sweet? [Smiiiirk] I'm sure Kairi would disagree.

Hm? What was I saying?

[And Sora has to blush.] I don't know about that!

I dunno. Something about droplets...and not chasing dreams...

[halfdarkened]

[And that encourages him] Hey, you just said you were sweet at the very least. Kairi'd appreciate that.

Hm. I already know I need to be careful about chasing dreams. I don't plan on messing with our home again just to get out. ...But droplets? No clue.

Well...I just meant... [ho boy, he looks embarrassed.] Not like that is what I mean!

Yeah, it was all pretty weird. Also you said something about a 'stupid grin.' Don't know what that's about!

Words. Sora's not good with 'em. XD

Well, it's what you said.

[Pauses, then smirks.] Huh. I bet I do. I know someone who almost always has a stupid grin on his face.

Well, at least I'm not the one with strawberry sauce on my face right now!

[halfdarkened]

[He pauses, then slowly smiles. He gives Sora a nod. Touche. He proceeds to grab some paper towels from the table to remedy the problem.] At least I can fix mine.

Good thing, too!

But...next time, don't go falling asleep like that, okay? You might not land on something so soft next time!

[halfdarkened]

[Frowns.] I can't help it. ...I've been falling asleep. Randomly.

[optimistickey]

But why? I mean, that kinda stuff doesn't just happen randomly...

Well, for this place, I don't think it's been happening to anyone else.

[halfdarkened]

No, it doesn't, but I can't make sense of any patterns.

I haven't heard of anyone else snoozing like this either.

Here's the thing. I didn't just have weird dreams this time. EVERY time I wake up feeling like I had strange dreams. I just can never remember what they are, though...

That is really weird. And yeah, I don't think it's happening to anyone else.

Do you think it...means anything important?

[halfdarkened]

With my luck? Probably. But if I can't even remember the dreams, I have to ask how important it could be? Do you remember a strange dream just before you got the Keyblade? Because I do. And that was important.

Yeah, I do remember that dream.

Maybe it's not that important, but it still doesn't seem like this is normal…

Hard not to remember those kinds of dreams. [Riku in fact remembers BOTH of his, but his first had ended quite differently, and by his own decisions...]

Hm. I'd wonder about you if you thought this WAS normal. [He smirked a little.] I just hope this isn't the beginning of something the entire ship has to deal with.

No kidding.

I hope not, either! Otherwise we'll get all kinds of people napping on their pancakes, or worse! [Sora definitely doesn't want to end up that way...]

[halfdarkened]

Fact is, though, I don't remember these. But when or if I do...

[Riku just pauses.] I think falling asleep in your breakfast is the least of anyone's concerns. There's a reason I'm not going on a spacewalk or time traveling until this sorts itself out.

[Sora makes a face. Yeeeah...it'd be pretty bad if he went back in time anywhere and fell asleep someplace, dangerous or no.] Then we gotta find a way to figure this out soon...

[A short sigh.] One thing for sure, I never expected to become a narcoleptic.

Can't say I ever saw that coming, either!

[Smirks.] Do me a favor and be my alarm clock?
