I have given it some thought and while I am not certain this time machine is the best idea given the dangers of time travel...it could prove useful.

[Kaldur is in the library. He has several charts out and looks tired.]

Twilight Sparkle and Aqua, I may have a solution to our problem regarding the lack of decent literature and entertainment aboard the SoL. It is possible that we could visit the past and ensure that decent books get placed on the satellite or, at the very least, bring back books ourselves.

Either way, I was curious about your views on the matter. Time travel, I am aware, is dangerous...but I would rather avoid any future incidents due to the lack of entertainment. We could even procure books that may aid in other ways.

[He's mostly referring to any future break downs from Twilight. He sighs looking back down at the charts and muttering]

I have actually been plotting out the details in hopes that we can avoid as much paradox and time anomalies as possible. If you would like to look over the plans I can so you.

Nor I. I have only encountered the possibility in fiction but...the opportunity is a little too good and I feel if we take precautions we can avoid any trouble.

As long as you don't kill anybody or get caught by your past self - or the Mads, come to think of it, I am all for the possibility of better books around here.

I was not planning on killing anyone nor would I care to. And as I cannot be certain my past self is on this particular Earth I do not foresee that being a problem.

The Mads should not pose a threat either I imagine.

Well we've already got a nice Tolkein set...maybe a few Stephen King books? They're pretty damn long but they're worlds better than anything we started up here with.

[He's writing this down] A long book is not necessarily a bad thing considering we do not know for how long we will continue to be here.

Not to mention the Tolkein books are not exactly short.

I am not sure what the date exactly is that we are aiming for. I will have to do some research into the matter as that is the only piece of information I lack.

I do not plan to travel much and my biggest fear would not be personal side effects.

If apes ruled the world that would drastically change the time stream resulting in this conversation having never occurred.

Not particularly. My own knowledge of time travel and the problems that can arise are mostly coming from fictional sources. I just cannot be sure which theory of time travel we are dealing with.

We just need to figure out when the SoL was launched first and where it was launched from.

There should be some sort of flight plan on this ship, right? We just have to find that and locate the first entry and we'll be set!

Gypsy would probably have a better idea and if not would certainly know where a flight plan might be stored.

That would require knowing what brought us here in the first place. Not to mention it would cause the paradox of us never having been here to begin with, possibly even causing the time machine to never be fixed, hence trapping those who went in the past among other things.

However, if we can improve some things up here then that does not necessarily cause any paradoxes...especially if we are cautious about where we hide said entertainment and ensure that nothing else changes.

I normally would not condone this but...even despite the events up here it does wear on one to be stuck in one place for so long. I suppose time travel is almost like a vacation away.
