Whoa, okay! This is... ah. Not quite where I wanted to end up, to be honest. In fact, this doesn't look like the Lifestream at all. If I didn't know any better, I'd say I popped up on a spaceship or somethin'!

Imagine that.

Me.

In space.

[He pauses, slowly looking into the camera with bright blue eyes.]

...oh, don't even tell me!

Yeah, it's a spaceship! Or a satellite, actually.

What's the 'Lifestream?'

[identity profile] optimistickey.livejournal.com 2011-11-06 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
No one knows how we got here.

No, I don't...and if you're here, I don't see how you could be dead.

Thread jack.

Lifestream?

[identity profile] keeperonenya.livejournal.com 2011-11-06 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Where people go when they die? You mean to say that you were dying before you came here? That makes you the second person I've met here that was near death before arriving.

I do not recall ever seeing something like that in the skies above Arda.

...Zack?

[You grew up, man. :|a]

I'm not sure what the Lifestream is, but this is a satellite. At least, it's called the Satellite of Love.

[Namine isn't too sure of the difference between "spaceship" and "satellite".]

[Namine nods, thinking of Hades and the Underworld.]

It is. At least, on some worlds. I'm not sure about others.

[She frowns in confusion at his reaction.]

That's what it's called, though I don't know why.

SORRY I'M LATE life has been eating my rp drive

"Lifestream" sounds like a hardcore name for a superhero, man.

[identity profile] liefeldisgod.livejournal.com 2011-11-08 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
No wait, you're right. It'd be even better spelled with a y.

Chya, we're kind of a melting pot of worlds or something, man. It's kind of meta if you think about it.

[identity profile] acceptedburden.livejournal.com 2011-11-09 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
You did pop up on a spaceship, although satellite would be the more accurate term.

That seems to be the common thread for everyone who winds up here I am afraid.

no prob

[identity profile] acceptedburden.livejournal.com 2011-11-15 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps not, although I believe a satellite merely orbits a planet while a spaceship is assumed to be able to travel further into space. It is a rather new experience for me as well, though I have read about it a little in my studies.
