5th Laugh

[Coming from Deck 10 down to Deck 11, Undertaker whistles a merry little dirge to himself.]

Such a useful little area, that is. [He stops to show Cambot what he's found: a harpoon gun! That's currently being held together with copious amounts of duct tape.]

Thing isn't as sturdy as one would hope, but it should still get the job done, yes~?

Now, then... Anyone know how these spacecraft work?

I could fly 'em. But you're outta your freakin' mind.

Not enough to fly some shitty, third rate space craft up to a space whale so you can harpoon it. It's like you're asking to die.

I've got more sense of adventure than half this rust bucket combined, I just don't feel like pissing something off that could kills us instantly. At least not without my arwing.

Besides, these things are harmless. The hell you wanna kill 'em for?

Not particularly.

[Galadriel is still beaming after seeing the space whale calf. At least until she sees the harpoon gun. Then her countenance falls considerably.]

You are not seriously thinking about killing one of the space whales, are you?

[identity profile] keeperonenya.livejournal.com 2011-11-04 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I cannot fault one for learning, though I certainly wish there was another way to learn more about these creatures.

May I ask a favor, though? Could you possibly avoid killing any of their young? It would be wise to leave enough whales so that their kind may continue.

A harpoon? [Sora frowns.] Why would you wanna kill one of those?

[identity profile] optimistickey.livejournal.com 2011-11-05 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
[Sora has thusfar not had very good experiences with 'experimentation,' not even counting the Mads. That frown stays.]

Why do you have to kill it to do experiments? You can just observe them!

Not really. If it's dead, it can't do anything else for you.

"Dear boy?"

[identity profile] optimistickey.livejournal.com 2011-11-05 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno about that...

Besides, I don't think you could even get something that big back inside.

[Mostly grumbling to himself] ...Although if you find Monstro out there, you're free to harpoon him.
