So, I found a rule book with all this stuff. Anyone wanna play? Or at least try out these brooms?

First, you've gotta make sure you have control of it. Put it on the ground at your side like this... [He demonstrates.] Then hold your hand over it and tell it "Up!" [His shoots up into his hand.]

Not exactly HP, but a witch is a witch, right?

[It seems kind of odd to her, but whatever works. She sets the broom on the ground and holds her hand over it.]

Up!

[Slowly but steadily it rises to her hand. She smiles up at him.]

I did it!

Yep!

So far so good! Now, you get on it like this, then push off the ground.

[He demonstrates, hovering a few feet off the ground.]

[She tries to imitate him, but ends up kicking a little too hard.]

Whoa, easy there! [He hurries to catch up to help steady her, if needed.]

[Xion's a little wobbly, but manages to stay on. Thank goodness she's not afraid of heights.]

I'm okay.

Good, good. Let's keep it kinda simple for now. Lean forward juuuust a little to make it go.

[She leans forward and manages to make her broom move at a slow, but steady, pace.]

Perfect! Now lean gently to turn.

[She does so, eventually making a circle.]
