Mission 17

[Cambot comes across Xion sitting at her desk. It looks like she has cat ears and a tail this week, too--all the same shade of black as her hair. The coat she's draped over the back of her chair has sparkly rainbows all over it, as do her black jeans, while her shirt has silver stars, also sparkly.

She appears not to have noticed Cambot, though, so he takes this opportunity to try to peek over her shoulder at what she's working on. It looks like she's decorating a notebook. Several partially used sheets of stickers lie next to her: rainbows, stars, hearts, various animals. The used stickers all occupy various positions on the notebook's cover, except for the one in her hand that she seems to be trying to find a place for.

As soon as she notices Cambot, her expression turns from one of focused concentration to surprise. She quickly sweeps the supplies into the only one of her desk drawers that locks.]

Cambot! I thought I asked you to let me know when you start recording.

Though, now that you're here...Has anyone seen Harry? I haven't for about a week or two.

No, they don't.

[Xion had hoped it would work this once, silly her. At least Roxas isn't asking about the notebook.]

I guess he did, like the others...

[Cambot will be Cambot, it seems. Roxas's own Cambot gives what seems to be an annoyed little shake, causing the image to jump. Roxas just shakes his head and picks up the other thread of the conversation.]

I don't know where else he could have gotten to. It might be good for him that he's gone home, though.

[Cambot will definitely be Cambot, whatever the particular Cambot's "personality." Xion's is just a little too eager to show off what she's doing/wearing.]

Me neither. I'm sure he's happy to be home.

[Harry's world sounded like it could be dangerous sometimes, so she won't say being back there is a good thing, but home is home.]

[A lot of the Cambots seem to like that. On the other hand, they are helpful sometimes, so Roxas doesn't have too many complaints.]

He's probably fine.

[Roxas hadn't really talked to Harry much, if at all. At best, he suspected Harry probably had some serious business to attend to back home, but beyond that he had no idea.]

[They're definitely helpful in some situations, so Xion's willing to put up with a bit of oversharing.]

Yeah, he can take care of himself.
