Wait... we're back to - YES!

[Considering he'd gone to sleep with leaves for ears and woken up with hands, Ven could probably be forgiven for celebrating being back in his own body. Sure he could handle being in others, but this was his, and he started to climb out of bed-]

Whooooaaaaaaaa!

[-only to fall over the edge of the bed. He only saved himself from going splat on the ground by grabbing onto the blankets and clinging like crazy. It works, but he's danging above the ground, three inches tall and in his PJs (which, fortunately, are covering enough to function as street clothes), and he's only got one thought on his mind.]

Not again!

[Sora keeps trying to hide his amusement, but it's just not working.]

How'd you manage that?

[Yeah that's obvious. He gets to the top and hauls himself back up to sit on the bed - at least he knows how to handle this.]

I don't know. You don't really control where you land with the Glider, I guess - or at least I couldn't, not right away.

[He got better, though.]

Huuh. I guess that kinda happened with the gummi ship a few times, too.

Never shrunk down because of it, though!

Probably because it's a ship and you don't use your own powers for it. With the Gliders, you do... Getting around here's going to be a lot more difficult now.

[Considering feet suddenly became relative miles.]

You kind of do! Those ships are powered by smiles.

Yeah. You need any help getting around?

[salvagedlight]

Uhh... [He's gotta think about it for a second, but he does get an idea.] Can you come with me to the theatrical deck? There's some things we can do to make this easier, and I can't pick up most stuff right now.

Sure! Do you want me to meet you there, or to come and get you?

[salvagedlight]

[Much as he'd love to remain independent, at the moment he knows it's impossible, at least if he wants to get anywhere at any relative speed to a regular-sized person.] Can you come get me? It'll take me awhile to get down there otherwise.

All right, I'll be there in a sec!

[Sora nods at his own Cambot to take off for now, and after a little while, he shows up at Ven's room. He knocks to announce his presence, and then comes in to discover Ven on his bed.]

So...[Sora holds back more chuckles] you wanna ride in my hood, maybe? That's what Jiminy did.

[Ven's going to give you the closest he gets to a sarcastic expression, Sora.]

No thanks, I'd suffocate in there! Hang on, don't move!

[Because yeah, he's totally jumping off the bed just at Sora, catching himself on one of the plentiful straps on Sora's clothes and starting to rock climb his way up to Sora's shoulder.]

Jiminy never had a--

[He gets cut off when Ven decides to start scaling him. He almost jumps out of the way with surprise, but not far enough for Ven to miss. Sora looks a bit startled.]

Hey! You coulda just asked!

[He would've survived the fall, just been kind of annoyed.]

Sorry! [Have a sheepish grin that you probably can't see. And yeah, he's swinging up your sleeve now, Sora.] Next time, I will.

[Sora has to remind himself not to shake off Ven; it just feels very weird to have a miniaturized version of someone climbing up his clothes.]

Uh...right! You comfortable?

[salvagedlight]

[Well he'll reach your shoulder and settle down. It's the best place, really. Although he does grab on to the end of a spike to make sure he doesn't fall off.]

Better than the trap!

[Wait, that's his HAIR!] Hey! Ouch! Why don't you just grab onto the armor instead?

[salvagedlight]

[He's THREE INCHES TALL and weighs like... half a pound now, Sora. When'd you get to be such a baby?]

Sorry! Just trying to get balanced... [But he does let go of the hair to grab the edges of the armor. Happy, whiner?]

[That's still his hair! It just caught him by surprise.]

Okay, that's fine! Let's get going. [With that, he heads out of the room and down towards the Theatrical Deck.]

[And Ven holds on like the devil because wow, he didn't realize how much all the Sorabits' gaits sway. Except maybe Vanitas since he's weird. But the rest of them, just all over the place.]

[Of course, Sora doesn't pay any attention to this...compared to Donald and Goofy, he's very steady!]

[After a little while, he's down at the Theatrical Deck. Wow, it looks like there's a whole bunch of suits and fancy dresses in here now...]

So what'd you wanna find?

[salvagedlight]

Anything small that can be stacked up - the mice in Cinderella's home got things like upside-down cups and spools of thread to use as stairs, and rulers for bridges and things like that. And... uhh, maybe something to ride on, too. It's gonna take forever to walk anywhere otherwise.

Hmm, okay. Let's see what we've got around here...

[Sora leans over to start looking through the stacks of boxes on this deck...there's a whole bunch of stuff around here. He goes through a box of furs and another of colored paper before he comes across a junk drawer that's got a variety of things in it.]

[He pulls out a thimble, a ball of twine, a ruler, paper towel rolls, a comb, and a recipe card box.]

Looks like some of these things will work!

[And due to that leaning Ven nearly falls off.]

Wait- wait- Whoooaaa!

[In the end, he jumps off himself, tucking into a roll as he lands on a nearby box which is steadier by far than Sora's shoulder.]

Anything will help, as long as it's small enough for us to climb up on.

[And Sora didn't quite get that this would be dangerous for Ven until he had to jump off himself.]

Oops! Sorry...

[He sets aside some of the objects he found.]

I guess also the question is, where do you want this stuff to be? Just in your room, or between the decks?

[He's tiny, everything is dangerous for him right now.]

It's okay! Just watch where you step - knowing this place, I'm probably not the only one this happened to.

We're gonna need stuff everywhere - the kitchen, between decks, in the elevator, in our rooms - we're not gonna be able to get to anything or do anything if we can't reach it.

[He nods.] I will!

[Sora gathers up some of the stuff in his arms, and continues to dig through the hunk box for more of the same items.]

Maybe you should just see if you can hitch a ride on Cambot between floors? It'll be hard to reach the elevator buttons, and the stairs will take forever.
