[A light brown unicorn pony seems to be bobbing up and down without really making an effort to move. His typical line-face expression seems to be present, as he hasn't been exactly enjoying this experience as much as some of the others.]

There will be no swimming for a period I am afraid.

[He nods at Cambot and the robot pans out to reveal Kaldur is standing on a purple substance that jiggles and shakes at the slightest movement. Kaldur pokes at it with a hoof and sighs]

I believe it is jell-o, but why someone would fill a pool with the substance I know not.

[He moves to step off the jello but apparently it isn't as stable as he believe and Kaldur is instead sucked down into the purple jello mass with a loud SLURP sound. Cambot zooms over and shows Kaldur floating in the jello, looking very unamused]

Right, what I want to know is who thought it would be a good idea to make this place even harder to walk around on. Probably the same bloke. Out to get us, I think.

Perhaps, it could just be more strangeness and not necessarily meant to make things more difficult.

Dunno, strange and difficult can kind of pass for the same thing, around here, I've noticed.

Kaldur! Do you need some help?

[She starts making her way toward the pool.]

[Floating in the jello, it is difficult but he's managing to swim it at least]

A little assistance would be appreciated. This is difficult to maneuver in, even more so when I am not accustomed to swimming like this.

I don't think anyone is.

[She arrives at the pool, then pauses as she tries to think of the best way to help. She doesn't have hands to help pull him out, and if she got in then the two of them could both be stuck...

Then she notices the stairs at the shallow end.]

Can you get to the stairs?

[She starts moving that way.}

[He follows her progress and nods]

I believe so.

[He begins what can best be described as a dog paddle, despite the fact he's a pony. It is the only way he can seem to move in the jello and it churns it up as he moves. Thankfully he was not terribly far from the shallow end and makes it to the stairs]

[Fortunately, there's not as much of a height/size difference between them as ponies, so Nami can step down the stairs to meet him, and they can lean against each other to keep their balance as they walk back up to the poolside.]

There. What's that in the pool? I don't think I've seen it before.

Based on the taste and consistency I would say it is grape jell-o.

[Not something she's ever heard of.]

[He leans over and scoops some out with his hoof. He holds it out for Namine to see as it jiggles and wiggles on the tip of his hoof]

It is a snack or dessert. I have seen my friend Wally eat it before, though I think he prefers strawberry flavor.

It's food?

But then what was it doing in the pool?

Yes. I do not know what it was doing in the pool, or should I say filling the pool.

I assumed it was a sort of prank.

[It didn't look like anything she was used to thinking of as food, but if he said so...]

It seems a bit complicated for prank.

Perhaps, but pranks can be elaborate if the person has enough time to commit them.
