[Cambot focuses in on a pointy-eared young man who clearly seems lost. Judging by the way he's looking around, he probably came from a situation where being off guard could get him hurt or worse. He can be heard grumbling under his breath a little bit, but he doesn't say anything clearly enough to be understood.

He hasn't noticed Cambot yet. Although the fact that Cambot is staying out of his line of sight doesn't help matters, but this gives anyone watching a good opportunity to make some observations, such as how he looks like he might be a warrior, if that ring mail is any indication.

Nope, he's not going to notice Cambot until it needs to let him know someone's talking to him through the network.]

[And this Link is wondering why such a young boy is wearing something resembling his year's uniform for the Knight Academy. He's also maybe mildly comforted that he's not the only human here. Still, for the moment, he'll just stare back.]

[There's a long, somewhat apprehensive pause]

[Well, things just keep getting more interesting. It's true that the name could just be coincidence. It's also possible that time thing mentioned by someone else might have something to do with this. Somehow, he's certain the boy is from the same world, but he's not sure what makes him so certain. For now, it just seems better to roll with it.]

Do you know someone named Midna?

I just met her here. Apparently, I remind of her of someone else... named Link.

[Which is awkward, to say the least. He knows it's not uncommon for two or more people to have the same name, but he hadn't thought his name was that popular. Then again, he also knows something of how odd time travel can be...]

[He opens his mouth to say something, but then thinks of what little he knows about this third Link]

Princess Zelda. Hyrule. Gannondorf. The Master Sword.

Does any of that mean anything to you?

[Yeah, there's only one name he recognizes there, but...]

Princess Zelda? Her father's an important person back home, but they're not royalty.

The Zelda I know is royalty, so it the one Midna knows.

Huh... That's strange.

[This is starting to give him a headache. Still, there's got to be some way to figure this out. Maybe...?]

Okay... have you heard anything at all about an island in the sky?

I've been to sky islands, but no humans lived there when we went.

[And Link doesn't look like an Oocoo at all. Thankfully.]

[Now that's just bizarre. Any islands Link knows of that don't have people on them are really too small to be liveable anyway.]

No humans? Was something else living there?

The Oocca are like...cuccos with human heads. They lived in ruins on the islands. Hylians and Gorons and Twili and so on all live on the ground.

[Is your brain broken yet? Though Oocca seem to be nice people overall, and good about being used as air transport.]

[He feels a little dumb having to ask this, but what else can he do when he's never heard of either creature? Admittedly, some of the books in the library at the academy hold images of creatures whose names are in a language long forgotten and are spoken of as either mythical or extinct.]

This might be a stupid question, but what is a Cucco?

It's a bird that's about twenty inches tall.

[Hopefully 'bird' will be enough to communicate things.]

[Twenty inches tall... He hadn't seen any birds that size or smaller until he'd finally visited the surface.]

So they're a relatively small birds. And these Oocca are Cucco sized birds with human heads?

[He's trying to wrap his brain around this mental image and kind of failing. But he sort of gets the point. These creatures live on the sky island Midna knows of and not humans. Either there's another large, liveable landmass in the sky that he doesn't know about or there's a very large gap between his time and hers. Both options are quite likely.]

More or less. They can talk and seem about as smart as other races.

[That doesn't really speak well for other races, but then, this is the place that always needs a Link to save it.]
