Tenth Sunrise
[Okay. Amaterasu is concerned on a number of levels now. Everyone is acting very strange! She faces Cambot, pulls out her paper and brush, and paints up a quick sketch:]

[She then shows the picture to Cambot as if he should be paying close attention. People should not be behaving like wolves! They should be behaving like people! Otherwise someone's gonna get hurt...or horribly embarrassed!]

[So she gets back up, and gets into a racing position, ready to go.]

[She wanders over to the food synthesizer and studies it. She never was good at figuring out these buttons...]

Okay, first half-running on hind legs and now using his front paws to move things? Now he's just showing off.]

[Maybe she can help him with more human foods, too...after all, there's some human foods that she enjoys. Once she's done, she wanders over and attempts to press the buttons that will give the a pork dumpling. She's had to do it enough times on her own that she's memorized which buttons to press. She almost doesn't make it, but manages it well enough, and out comes a couple of dumplings.]

[Of course, those are still meat. She should get some veggies, too...as a wolf, she does like some veggies, but Riku needs them even more than she does. She goes again to the machine, and punches the correct buttons to make a turnip, her favorite vegetable. It's probably her favorite because she enjoys digging them up, but hopefully Riku would like one, too.]

[Riku sniffs curiously at the turnip and gives it a few licks. After a moment, he takes a bite, tilting his head a bit at the taste. He bats at the turnip, rolling it around a moment before laying down and nibbling slightly on it. It looks like he's not sure if he really likes it or not, but he's eating it because it's a different kind of taste.]
[Leave it to a teenager to barely eat his vegetables.]

[While Riku's not as enthusiastic about it, at least he's eating the turnip. Or, nibbling on it, rather. She thumps her tail some more. What other foods would be good to help jog human memories?]
Someone's sniffing at the baking supplies.]

[However, she doesn't know how to bake, herself. So she heads back over to the synthesizer, and punches a button for a piece of cake, topped with some berries.]

[It looked like he was full up on food, though. And then came the pushing the plate towards the baking supplies. Maybe he realized that the cake came from baking all those materials together. She looked up at the baking supplies, and barked back. Yes, those things came together to make a cake! But it took practice and the right amounts to make it work right.]

Riku sat and looked at Ammy, then the cabinet and the cake with a questioning little whine.]

[Ammy went around to the various cabinets, and began to pull out some stuff used in baking: bowls, spoons, mixers, and more. She set the objects down on the nearest table in front of them. Maybe he'd get that these were used to turn the ingredients into a cake.]

Riku sniffed the air and followed the smell to the sink. There was a slight scent of dish soap on the spoons, bowls and such. Was this related too? It didn't smell at all like the cake, though. It smelled a little like some of the flowers on the nature deck, but it really didn't smell like something he wanted to eat.]
