Twenty-first link [backdated to the beginning of the week]
[Cambot is loyally keeping an eye on his person. Not that that's difficult; statues don't do much. Looks like she's just laying there asleep in her bed.
Though, is that a bit of color returning to her skin? It just might be! The arm that had been holding the mirror falls to her side. Her eyes open, and...
she sits up so quickly Cambot actually retreats a bit.]
Cambot, there's a snake, we have to--
[Then she finally seems to realize where she is, blinks, and looks around in confusion.]
What happened?

Cambot, there's a snake, we have to--
[Then she finally seems to realize where she is, blinks, and looks around in confusion.]
What happened?

Namine, you're all right!

Yes, but how did I get here? What happened to the snake.

I heard--Riku got really hurt.

[Namine does not like that idea, though she knows Riku can take care of himself.]

It's good to see that you've recovered, Namine.

Thank you, but I don't even know what happened. I was using my mirror because I thought something was following me, and then there was this snake...
[She shudders at the memory. That snake had been scary.]

[He stops and taps at her door. She might not want people in his room.]

Thank you, I heard.
[She opens the door when he knocks, and smiles up at him. Visitors of this sort are totally welcome.]

[Yes, that is relief you hear.]
no subject
Yes, but...what happened. I remember there was a snake.
[She can't help shuddering at that memory.]

[It takes her a moment to take in what he says and its implications re: what happened to her.]
I was turned into stone?

Figure we're good to wind up here and the Revenance thread?
Yeah.

[A smile of relief washes over Riku's face. He looks like he's seen better days, though. His arms sport a few bruises and bandages, and one arm is covered in small cuts. Most notably are the first and second degree burns across his eyes which he can't quite hide. None of it hinders his smile.]
The snake's gone. ...Welcome back.

Thank you, and that's good, but...Riku, what happened? It looks like I was asleep for a while, and you're hurt.
[Now that she knows the snake is gone, there's nothing keeping her from heading out that door and going to see what she can do for him.]
