I haven't seen Kairi or Sasami for a while now. Has anybody else?

[Fotunately, Namine likes to draw her friends and keep those pictures around. This means she can literally show Kanji what they look like.

This is Kairi

This is Sasami.

Maybe they took that time travel thing and haven't come back yet?

People have disappeared even before the time machine was turned on. We think they might have been sent home somehow.

[She hopes that's what happened to them.]

I think I last saw her when everyone was playing laser tag.

[Which was a while ago, but people go through times where they lay low and then pop back up. Nami wanted to be sure before getting anyone else worried.]

That was at least three weeks ago... She couldn't just be hiding somewhere, could she?

Sometimes that happens, but I've looked around and asked Cambot to help. We haven't seen her anywhere.

Maybe she was sent home.

[Small hopes are good, and Namine's sorry to crush this one, but she has this thing about not lying.]

[Twilight pauses, then sighs, lowering her head.] Maybe. If she was... She's probably better off there. At least it's somewhere familiar to her.

It was nice, getting to know her a little.

Guess they might have gone home like some of the others. At least, that's what we assume happens when they vanish like this.

Me too. I'd hate for something to have happened to them...but it's not like this is the first time people have vanished.

No it isn't. It'd be good to know for sure why that happens.

I imagine if we found that device Joel mentioned...but if we found that we probably wouldn't be here any more either.
