Seventh Key

[Cambot is just wandering around the halls on the Recreation Deck when it happens to catch Sora heading by. He happens to wave to the camera, when there's a flash of black and gray from above. Sora's spectre jumps down from one of the walls (how did it get up there?) and lands on Sora.]

HEY! You--

[Sora tries to flip the spectre off of him, but having his strength, it just flips him back over on the ground again. There, it proceeds to grab his throat with one hand, effectively pinning him down.]

[The spectre is talking to him again...and whatever it says, it puts a rather horrified expression on Sora's face.]

...No!--

[Sora struggles to get the double off of him, but it just presses down harder on his throat...then brings a leg up, preparing to smash its shoe into Sora's face.]

[Then, all of a sudden, there's a bright pink flash, and POOF! The spectre screeches, and then disappears.]

[Sora slowly gets up, and looks around. The spectre is nowhere to be found, but he still looks shaken.]

...Is it gone? What happened?

[THAT'S JUST HOW HE ROLLS. He looks back down the hall.] Wonder if we should check or not?

It just...vanished.

Sora? Are you all right?

[He rolls weird. Roxas follows Sora's gaze.]

We could... I wouldn't know where to start, though. If it got away, it could be anywhere...

[Riku pauses in the middle of the hallway and gives Sora an odd look through Cambot, who adds a sound effect. He rubs the bridge of his nose and resumes walking.] How was I doing it the wrong way?

Well yeah. You can do all sorts of evil stuff with a good Inator.

Yeah...although I've never seen one teleport away like that, either.

By trying to help when I'm not really hurt and you're injured! That should be the other way around! [Yeah, he ALMOST got far worse off, but Riku's still recovering.]

[optimistickey]

[And then that impressed look turns more towards confusion at the word 'evil'.]

...Wait, evil stuff?!

[optimistickey]

Yeah...didn't make a nice noise, either.

I think I'm okay. [Mostly he just looks shaken up, and a bit worried.]

That pink flash was kind of weird too. I wonder what it was...

Yeah, me too. Part of me wonders if Pinkie Pie had something to do with it...

Really weird. Why wouldn't that surprise me?

That still doesn't explain how I was doing things wrong then. Remember that time when you had to carry me by my arm and my belt? Yeah, I'm nowhere near that.

[Riku appears in the Recreational Deck, at which point he supplements his last statement.] I really can walk.

[Okay, maybe not. Sora's running out of good reasons for Riku to not come, at least compared to past actions, beyond just that he worries after him.]

Okay, okay! I just want you to be careful, is all. It's harder to recover from injuries without cure around here.

[eroded_earth]

[Well, he has some idea as to how bad his was.]

Do you want to talk about it?

[Sora rubs at the back of his head...he doesn't know if he should go bringing up his darkness to someone like Terra. Not because of Terra, but because he doesn't want an older Keybearer to think that badly of him.]

Maybe, but I dunno...

[Terra takes it completely differently]

I guess it's only fair...I didn't really tell you about my shade either.

Yeah. I know it's no good to actually listen to what they say, but...I guess it just caught me by surprise is all.

[halfdarkened]

I know. [Riku walks over to him, hand on the hilt of the cutlass with a smirk.] Makes it more important for you not to get hurt, too.

Sora?! What happened?

[That is not the kind of thing he wants to see - especially since it is so confusing.]

[optimistickey]

[Fine...guess he's not going to convince Riku to rest now.] Fine, fine.

...But I don't think that thing is around anymore.

[optimistickey]

[Sora is still catching his breath a bit.]

I dunno...it just jumped me out of nowhere, and now it's gone.

[halfdarkened]

Then you don't have to worry about me getting hurt worse, huh? [Riku suspected Sora was right, but given the surprise they got from Xemnas, he didn't want to take that chance right now.]

[optimistickey]

[Sora slumps over.] ...I guess not. But then that still means that the best thing you should be doing is resting, if I'm not in any danger!

[halfdarkened]

[Riku shrugged. Sora had him there.] How do you know for sure if it's gone?
