Well, thankfully most asteroid's maintain their orbit around whatever it is they happen to be orbiting. Take for example the asteroid belt! True, it moves, but it is much more stable than, say, a comet that is constantly being hurdled through space.
That might not be a bad idea. I'll have to see if it's in the budget to get something like that installed. Especially if I plan to have any new space field trips in the future.
