1 Stitch: The Diamond Dogs Were Bad Enough
[Cambot is providing a good view of a hallway, hovering outside an open door from which the sounds of an increasingly heated conversation can be heard. Let's have a listen, shall we?]
-s I've told you, I am very busy at the moment, so if you'd be kind enough to step outside and-
Not happening, toots. Haven't you been listening?
I rather think you haven't, what with that tone you're taking. Now, as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, if you'd step outside, I'll be with you in just a moment.
I don't know if you're deaf or just crazy. I'm not waiting around for some slave. You make time for me now.
...pardon me, some what?
You heard me. Some slave.
...sadly, I don't think this will work out between us, and I'll have to ask you to take your woefully outdated suit and leave. Good day, sir.
No way. I'm not-
I said GOOD DAY!
[There's a muffled thwock and a ventriloquist dummy in a shabby black suit goes flying out of the open door, hits the wall, and slides to the hall floor. He picks himself up, muttering about dumb broads and idiot slaves, and walks away. There are two very telltale hoof prints on his rear.]
[Cambot pauses for a moment, then ventures carefully into the room, which is festooned with orange and black, and pans in on Rarity, busy with a sewing machine. She looks up.]
Oh, hello, Cambot- that is your name, is it not? [The screen bobs up and down with Cambot's nodding.] Oh, good. You can come in, as I'm fairly certain you know how to show a lady some respect.
