[Namine is wearing her new clothes, sketching a sketch...of her staff. She looks fairly intent on her work until she happens to glance up and notice Cambot recording. Smiling slightly, she closes the sketchbook and picks up said staff.]

Does anyone else have one of these? I've seen people who know magic use something like it, but we can't use magic here, right? Unless that changed and we didn't know it.

[If they can use magic, and she's supposed to use it now, she'll need to start learning quickly.]

[Aqua's staff looks a good deal different, but that's perhaps to be expected given that her new clothes are also significantly different.]

I know we can't normally use magic. I don't know about right now.

With the random stuff this satellite can throw at us sometimes, I wouldn't be surprised if we could suddenly use magic. Although... I wouldn't expect any of us to have our normal abilities.

[Twi is still pony-shaped and everything, but now she looks much more wizardly.]

I believe we can, now. Watch.

[And she closes her eyes, her horn starts to glow - and a fireball appears in front of her and zips off to "attack" something that isn't there.]

It doesn't seem to be what I learned in Equestria, though. Some of the spells have similar effects, but they're not cast in the same way.
